Lovely Luscious Lotion

Our product is the best version because it has a really smooth texture and if we add or subtract any of the ingredients from the recipe either the texture, smoothness, and or how soft the lotion is. It’s worthwhile to make our recipe because the lotion does not take a lot of material to make and you will have a lot of material left over so you can remake the recipe to get more and end up with a load of lotion for a pretty low price.

- 3/4 cup Almond Oil

- 1/4 cup coconut oil

- ¼ and 1 TBSP cup Beeswax(If vegan or allergic then the use of Soy Wax at the same amount.)

- 3 TBSP shea butter

- A few drops of essential oil for a specific smell, we used vanilla extract.

We used this ingredients because they are commonly used in lotion. And with this combination we can get cheap lotion that works very well.

Almond oil helps smooth and rejuvenate skin. Because of the vitamin E in it helps keep the skin smooth and soft

Coconut oil helps reduce or fade wrinkles because of it's boost in the production of collagen which speeds up the regeneration of your skin cells.

Beeswax is high in vitamin A, so it’s great for healing skin and preventing breakouts.

Beeswax also puts up a protective wall by trapping in the moisture in your skin while not clogging your pores.

Soy wax is high is vitamin E which also helps with keeping your skin look healthy

Shea butter is useful to the lotion because it is also an ingredient that softens and heals your skin.

The essential oil is important only if you want your lotion to smell a certain smell.

First we get a metal bowl, hot plate, and a mason jar. Fill the metal bowl with water and set it on the hot plate to let it boil. Next measure out the ingredients and put the almond oil coconut oil, shea butter, and beeswax in the mason jar. Set the mason jar in the water and wait for it to start melting. (Don’t forget to stir often) After the ingredients have melted add the essential oil if you choose one, then pour the product into a container you want it in.

To summarize, our product is important because it uses simple ingredients that have benefits towards the skin. With low amount of materials needed it is more cost effective than buying store lotion. It lasts very long, easy to make, and has excellent effects on your skin.
