In our steam class at Brashear High School we were told to make a DIY product. Me and my partner decided to make lip gloss since we use lip gloss everyday. Our lip gloss is going to be easy to make and it will have natural ingredients. If you follow our recipe then you’ll be making lip gloss on your own. Our first ingredient is coconut oil. We used coconut oil because it's beneficial for the lips “the primary benefit of coconut oil is its moisturizing effects” “this makes it ideal for chapped lips”
Our second ingredient is peppermint. It gives you nice cooling sensation. “It’s because peppermint oil helps heal cracked lips” “peppermint oil for chapped lips has soothing effect- it gives a cooling and refreshing effect on the skin”
Our third ingredient is almond oil because it prevents chapped lips. “A few drops of almond oil on your lips will rejuvenate the dead cells, prevents chapped lips and leave them moisturized”
The other ingredient is vitamin E oil . Since vitamin E promotes cell turnover and regeneration, using it on dry lips brings new cells to the surface faster.
Also versagale it's the base of the lip gloss.
First you need to start by having all your materials. All containers, the oils, the versagel, spoons and a pipet. put a scoop of versagel in the container of your chose. Then add 3 table spoons of coconut oil. Then almond oil, 3 table spoons. Then vitamin E oil 3 table spoons. Then 4 tablespoons of peppermint oil. Stir the lip gloss make sure it feels like lip gloss, not too much oil but enough gloss.
In conclusion our product is easy simple and easy to make. You just have to follow the procedure to make your own lip gloss.
