Hello everyone, do you want to have a small bottle of perfume that you can bring with you all the time and can be made with organic ingredients? Here we have a small lavender perfume for you, the recipe is easy to make. It will be better for you to make it yourself instead of buying perfumes at stores that can harm you with its chemicals (except famous perfumes), also it will be cheaper because you can make them again with the last ingredients, and you don’t have to buy expensive perfume and when it’s out, you have to buy it again. The first time we do this product, we put coconut oil instead of sunflower oil so coconut smells so strong that the perfume don’t have lavender smell. So we think we are going to use soft smell oils like almond or sunflower oil.

Ingredients:

1. Pinch of organic lavender flowers

Because Lavender flowers are used for talking out stress and pain of anything. Also, it will be nice if you decorate the bottle with some flowers. With a calming, physically and emotionally balancing fragrance, it has commonly been used for its relaxing effects on the body.(1)

2. Organic sunflower oil (or almond oil)

- Sunflower oil is organic and used for protecting, moisturizing and lubricating the skin. Sunflower oil is the non-volatile oil pressed from the seeds of sunflower (Helianthus annuus). Sunflower oil is commonly used in food as a frying oil, and in cosmetic formulations as an emollient.(2)

- Also it has a soft smell, different from coconut oil, so the perfume will still have the main smell - lavender.

3. Amyris essential oil - you can purchase it in Well Oiled. A shop in Pittsburgh or other shop that you can find.

Amyris, also other essential oils that I used, when they combined, they will be more perfect and better. The soft aroma is reminiscent of resin oils like benzoin and it is often used as a perfume ‘fixative’ to extend the fragrant life of a blend. True to the nature of base notes in general, it provides grounding and soothing qualities.(3)

4. Organic lavender essential oil - the place to find this essential oil is the same as amyris one.

- This is the most important because it is the main smell of this perfume.

- The oil promotes relaxation and believed to treat anxiety, fungal infections, allergies, depression, insomnia, eczema, nausea, and menstrual cramps.

- In essential oil practices, lavender is a multipurpose oil. It is purported to have anti-inflammatory, antifungal, antidepressant, antiseptic, antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, as well as antispasmodic, analgesic, detoxifying, hypotensive, and sedative effects.(4)

5. Organic peppermint essential oil - place to buy: the same as amyris and lavender.

I can use this to make the blend of essential oils in the perfume. It has a really nice smell. Peppermint oil is commonly used as flavoring in foods and beverages and as a fragrance in soaps and cosmetics. Peppermint oil also is used for a variety of health conditions and can be taken orally in dietary supplements or topically as a skin cream or ointment.(5)

6. Organic juniper essential oil - place to buy: the same as amyris, lavender and peppermint.

Same as other oils, I use this to combine with others to make the perfume perfect. When used for its aroma, Juniper Berry essential oil has a calming and grounding effect and can also be diffused to help cleanse and purify the air. Juniper Berry oil can be used internally as a powerful cleansing and detoxifying agent and to support urinary tract and healthy kidney function.(6)

And now I will write about how I did the perfume. First, you have to have a 10ml (or 9-8ml) spray bottle or a roll top bottle (because there is oil in the perfume so I think you should use the roll top bottle). Second, you put your dried lavender in the bottle to decorate it. Then you put in the bottle 4ml of your carrier oil of choice, in my product, I used almond oil (you can use a funnel to make sure the oil is not spilled out) . After that, you put in the essential oil with this blending recipe:

*2 drops of amyris essential oil.

*2 drops of lavender essential oil.

*1 drop of peppermint essential oil.

*1 drop of juniper essential oil.

Finally, after putting all your ingredients, snap the roll top then roll the bottle in your palm to mix it evenly. And you’re done! Now you can have your own perfume that can be made again and again! You can bring it with you anywhere too!

Actually I’ve found this recipe in another blog, I really wanted to make a simple perfume and I followed this recipe. And it works so well! I love it!

With me, my nose are really sensitive, I hate strong perfumes, I love soft aromas but I also want to keep the smell stay long. And when I found this recipe, I was so happy! The perfume is not strong at all and it can stay long. Also you can bring it anywhere with you, you don’t need a pouch or a bag to take your perfume with you anymore! It is so easy to make and you can decorate your bottle as you like! At first, I was confused about the essential oil, like how can I use it and where can I buy it. But after searching things, everything became so easy to me, you just need to buy what you need and boom! You have your own perfume that is really feminine for our girls!

I really hope that you can make this perfume, it is so great! You are not going to be disappointed for making this!
