The product I and partner are making is DIY shampoo- the reason why we are making this is that we get credit for doing this project. This project contains many points for a grade even though the product we are making is pretty easy. I and my partner decided to look up some ingredients online but we figured that we would change some of the products just for a better/nicer smell -because that is one of the requirements for this project.
What you will need for this Product- {Secret Ingredient-Coconut Milk}
-Coconut Milk-The reason why we choose Coconut milk is that it damage and brittle hair has such has split ends. Coconut milk contains all essential nutrients required for healthy hair and for growth.
(Coconut milk is considered safe to apply to your hair and skin-However using too much could cause buildups of oil on your face and scalp.)
-Liquid Castile Soap- The reason why we choose is that. The sugar in castle soap acts as a natural humectant, helping skin and hair retain moisture. Castile soap is very beneficial for your thick and dry hair.
(Liquid castile soap- Is it considered not safe/Don't use castile soap directly onto your skin or hair it is way too strong and will surely leave your hair feeling like a straw/using plain liquid soap leave tangles mess in your hair. )
-Essentials Oil of Choice(Lavender, peppermint, rosemary, and orange combination of those.)
Handmade DIY Shampoo Ingredients
-¼ cup Coconut milk (homemade or canned)
-¼ cup liquid castle soap like Dr. Bronners
-20 drop of Essential of Choice
- For dry hair: add ½ tsp Olive oil or almond oil (optional)
-Concern /Tips
Shake before you use
Keep in shower
Use about a tsp about every time you shampoo
Consider me and my partner we use a different type of products(ex.We use Cashew Milk instead of Coconut Milk and Olive oil instead of Almond oil) - so because we are trying to make the best of this product even though pretty easy to make. Using a DIY product can be best for you and others because DIY can be handmade or home-made. Based on the fact DIY products is based of what you want it to be not the other way around. I mean buying a product and making one is very different because it in your best interest but can be expensive at the same time.
In the process of the DIY shampoo it wasn't hard at all because for me there was no problem in the making process but honestly i think i did a good making this product i use myself has a volunteer to test the product to see what happen.
