We made lip balm organically because it's better than store bought items. Our lip balm is the best version of itself, because it is organic and healthy. It does not include some of the ingredients as store bought lip balm, for example it does not include mineral oil because mineral oil caused premature aging. Also I would suggest using our recipe instead of buying from stores because we know what's best for the body. I've made it once before and it went well and worked amazingly. To be completely honest it went much better than I expected. What I would do differently is make more of it because it went well.

Our ingredients are coconut oil, bees wax, Shea butter, mica powder, and essential oils. Coconut oil is very important because it's naturally anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and moisturizing, which is great for your lips. Also Shea butter is very important as its high concentrations of fatty acids and vitamins make Shea butter an ideal cosmetic ingredient for softening skin. Shea butter also has anti-inflammatory and healing properties which helps with chapped lips. Bees wax is important because beeswax carries antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties that are essential in fighting chapped skin and bacterial infections. This helps heal chapped lips which is the point of chap stick. Mica powder is just a non effective powder to add color to the chap stick but it can create an illusion of a smoother, softer and more radiant skin tone. To make this product you need 8.6 grams of coconut oil, 2.9 grams of beeswax, 6.4 grams of Shea butter, and a pinch of mica powder.

To make this my product you will need a beaker, hot plate, pan, water, and the ingredients given above. You need to boil water in a pan of some sort first, then put all the materials listed above in a beaker. Place the beaker in the water so the beeswax and the other materials used melt together. Then when its a liquid substance pour it into your chap stick like container and let it cool. Once it cools it will turn into a waxy chap stick like substance and you've got chap stick!

Obviously, our product is better than store bought items, because it's healthier and potentially cheaper. All of our ingredients help with inflammation in chapped lips and there are no oils that aren't necessary, or that could hurt your body. So if you want the best possible chap stick to perfect your lips make it yourself, because store bought
